24 Russian phrases with English meanings
The pronunciation column is an approximate reading aid, not an audio guide. Words such as ульт (ultimate), вард (ward) and смок (Smoke) are gaming shorthand. Players may spell or shorten them differently.

Turn a phrase into a clear call
A short phrase becomes more useful when you add a location or a timer. Instead of writing a long explanation during a fight, use one call and a map ping. For example, «Назад» means retreat, while «Нет ульта, 30 сек» means your ultimate is unavailable for 30 seconds.
If an enemy disappears, «Враг ушёл с линии» reports what you saw: the enemy left the lane. It does not claim they are definitely ganking another lane. Keep that distinction when translating a message, too.
Which phrases should I learn first?
Start with «Назад», «Иду», «Нет маны», «Нужна помощь» and «Спасибо». These cover retreating, arriving, explaining a limitation, asking for help and thanking a teammate. Recognizing five familiar calls is more useful than trying to translate every line while you play.
Can I type these with an English keyboard?
You can copy the Cyrillic text from this page. The pronunciation hints help you recognize words, but Latin-letter transliteration is not a standardized chat format. For urgent calls, a ping and a short message your team already understands are often easier than switching keyboard layouts.
Does this translate every Russian chat message?
No. This is a small phrase reference. Free-form messages may contain abbreviations, jokes or missing context. Ask for a shorter explanation if the meaning matters, and check a translation before acting on it. If the problem is consistently being matched with teammates who use another language, read the language preference guide.
